Hoja de Reclamaciones – Spanish complaints form
This is the complaints form that all Spanish businesses are required by law to keep on their premises. This form has English translation contained, although the grammar is a bit off.

EX15 – Solicitud de Número de Identidad de Extranjero – NIE – Application for NIE certificate
This form is for those requiring a NIE certificate, but not necessarily being resident.

EX16 – Solicitud de Cedula de Inscripcion o Titulo de Viaje – Application for registration certificate or travel
Occasionally you may be asked for a brand new certificate. For example, residents in the Canary Islands require this to gain the travel discount.

EX18 – Certificado de Extranjeros – Certificate for Foreigners
This is the form that registers non Spanish (but EU) people as living in Spain. It is not a permission, because EU citizens have the right to live anywhere in Europe. However, not all residents are accepted into the healthcare system. Since July 2012, you may be required to provide proof of income. This may be bank account information or proof that you already pay for private health care.

Contrato de arrendamiento de vivienda – Rental contract in Spanish
This is an example rental contract. It is the landlord’s responsibility to ensure that all clauses represent local laws. Remember that different municipalities may have additional rules, or not need others. Don’t wing it… be absolutely sure. It is far better to pay somebody legally qualified to cast their eyes over things for a nominal fee than you get caught short at a later date.

Important note and disclaimer: The law in Spain changes at a moment’s notice… so it is YOUR responsibility to check that you are filling out the correct form, and that it is the latest version. If nothing else… these will help you practise form filling
