Open Day, Sat 23 Sep 11am to 1pm – Fun Day

Inviting members and non-members – including our local Spanish community – to join us at our next Open Day on Sat 23 Sep, 11am to 1pm at the Centre, Plaza San
Antonio, 04800, Albox.

We will be offering our usual selection of snacks and nibbles for the occasion, information and speakers about membership and the benefits of being part of our friendly group,
together with some “fun on the plaza” games – it will certainly be a great day and we do hope you can all join us.

Don’t forget to bring along your friends and neighbours to learn more about membership, trips, proposed drop-in coffee mornings and upcoming events – we
also need your valued input, so the more ideas you put forward, the more we can organise for the benefit of all our members.

Please note: In our publicity for the open day we originally stated there will be a free BBQ and outdoor games. Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to do this. We will offer our usual selection of snacks and nibbles.

Driving from the fería car park on the new bridge:

• Turn right out of the car park towards La Parilla Bar and Restaurant.
• Turn right before La Parilla into Paseo de los Tristes.
• Take 2nd turn on left up Dr Fleming. This becomes Plaza Naranja.
• Arrive at Plaza San Antonio. We are opposite Pete’s Convenience Store.

Driving from the motorway:

• Past the Post Office up to petrol filling station.
• Turn left into Avenida Ramón y Cajal.
• Travelling away from Market area to end of Avenida Ramón y Cajal, turn right into Libertad up to the end.
• Arrive at Plaza San Antonio. We are opposite Pete’s Convenience Store.

Walking from the church in the main square:

• Plaza San Antonio is signposted from the church.
• Continue up Cervantes past Farmácia, past Biblioteca Pública Municipal.
• Take right-hand fork to Caño San Felipe.
• Turn left, first right into Escuadra, right into Martires.
• Arrive at Plaza San Antonio. We are opposite Pete’s Convenience Store.

Park in Libertad or on the waste ground at the end of Paseo de los Tristes.
