Art Demonstration: 14 Jun 2023

We are proposing to hold an Art Demonstration on Wed 14 Jun at the Senior Centre in Albox, Centro Municipal Recreativo de Mayores, Calle Ramon y Cajal 23 – the same venue as where we held the Quiz.

One of our members, Marian Nobbs, will host this event and provide the budding artists amongst us with an interesting insight in how to get started, together with a demonstration on painting a hedgerow scene with acrylics.  Marian will also bring along 2/3 finished paintings so that you can see the end results and, as well the opportunity for a questions and answers session, she will be providing handouts covering the content of the demonstration and what is needed to get yourselves started.

The demonstration will last about 1 hour (11.30am to 12.30pm), with 30 minutes for questions, followed by the opportunity to get together for lunch at 1pm – the Senior Centre do a menu del dia for 15 euros a head, all freshly prepared there. 

We will however need to know numbers prior to the event, for both attendees and for the lunch – members are free to attend the demonstration and there will be a small 2 euro charge for non-members.
