Caritas Christmas Appeal

Once again the Almanzora Group of Friends, along with Breeze FM and others, are collecting donations for local families in Albox.

A Christmas Hamper will be produced for those families in need at Christmas and a parcel will be given to the children for Three Kings in January.

If you would like to make a donation, Caritas have asked for toys/games (new only) and festive treats. It is suggested that these should cost between €10 – €20. Alternatively, money can be given which Caritas will use for the purchase of the gifts.

In the area are around 80 children, split evenly between boys and girls, and ranging in age from 0-1 through to early teens. The boys seem to like toys around Football and Superheroes.

Donations can be left at Breeze FM or at the AGoF Library and Social Centre.

Caritas have asked for all donations to be left by 19th December. Wrapping will likely take place between Christmas and New Year. If you wish to be helpful and wrap your own present, please describe the contents clearly on the outside and the age/sex that the gift is intended for, with the label securely attached.

These families do so appreciate your help.

Thank you in advance.
