Castril Trip: October 9 2025

The price is 45€ for members and 50€ for non-members

Hello fellow travellers, we hope you all have survived these last few months and its intense heat. It’s time
again to think of another day out with our happy band of travellers.

Our thoughts are a day out in Castril, followed by one of Lorenzo ́s fabled lunches with wine and beer included
(naturally). For those who have never been to Castril, the walk along the riverside is spectacular and for the
more adventurous maybe a walk up to the Castle to enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding
countryside. The day out will involve some walking, so anyone with mobility issues need to consider this,
although we will try to get the coach as near to riverside walk as possible – you may have to adapt this part
of the trip to suit your needs.

After the visit to Castril there will be a short drive to the restaurant, where we will all enjoy a typical Spanish
meal in good company with fellow travellers.

Members can book this trip in the AGoF Centre from Tuesday, 2nd September, opening
hours are 10.00am to 1pm. Members take priority for the first two weeks of booking, after
which time it is open to non-members.
