Message from the committee: April 2025
Well the first thing we have to advise you is that Alison Arnold has agreed to take on producing your newsletter (for which Shelagh is very thankful) and to join the committee (a warm welcome awaits !!). We are now a full team and hope we can really make our presence felt this year.
On Friday, 11th April, we have Alison Shand’s first event – Glue Gun Art for beginners. This sold out within days of advertising so we think we will soon need a repeat.
Wednesday, 23rd April is St George’s Day but also the Day of the Book and the Rose (see article on the following pages). We will have roses in the library to give away along with a book from those on sale in the foyer.
Hope to see you then.
On Saturday, 26th of this month, some of your committee members will be taking part in the Walk for Life again. A sponsorship sheet is in the library so do pop in and make a donation to this very worthy cause, and/or even join us on the walk.
Looking ahead to May we will be having a Spring Open Day on Saturday 3rd, with a theme of food (to eat and play with !!??) and on May 6th a trip to Cabo de Gata.
