Message from the Committee: Feb 2025

Of course, the most important thing to report on in February is the AGM
which took place on Monday, January 27th.

Around 50 of us attended. After the business of the day, Stephen Wood
auctioned a beautiful embroidered tapestry donated by Helen Sharp.

This was followed by a drink and tapa, then a fun quiz organised by
Andrea Evans. Many of us stayed on afterwards for a chat and to catch
up on the year’s events.

The minutes are now in the centre for members to read but if you would
like us to email you a copy please let us know.

Remember that the membership year runs from 1st January to 31st
December. If you haven’t renewed already please do so as soon as
possible to continue to have access to our services.

This month sees the trip to Sierra Nevada, which we hope all our
travellers will enjoy. There are more day trips planned for March and
April and overnight trips in September and December. More information
will be published when confirmations have been received.
