Message from the Committee – Sept 2026

After a well earned rest for everyone, things are starting up again as the weather starts to cool
down again.

• The library opened again as of Tuesday the 1st September.
• Coffee Spanglish started up again at 4pm Friday 11th September
• The Debatables Book Club started again on the 6th
  September

A couple of our centre team need to retire shortly and we will struggle to cover all our opening times. So please could you consider coming in for a couple of hours one morning to help us out. If you would like
to offer your services, or just hear more about what is involved, please contact Kathy on almanzorafriends@gmail.com – and she will get in touch to arrange a chat.

Librarian – This is not an onerous task and can be carried out while we are open or closed. It is a matter of ordering new books, entering them (and donations) onto the system, deleting old ones, and keeping the catalogue up to date. If you would like more information, please email us and Shelagh will arrange to meet you.
