Message from the President: Aug 2024

We have now been in our Plaza San Antonio premises for 6 years, almost the longest home we have had since our inception, even longer than the 5 years we spent in the covered market, for those of you who remember back to the beginning. Doesn’t seem possible does it ?

As we are closing down for the month of August, this issue of the magazine was brought forward to be available in July. We are delighted you have managed to pick up a copy with your supply of reading until September.

The committee will still be working on your behalf and the travel guys will continue to research new trips and outings. As always, any suggestions are welcomed.

A reminder that we are still looking for someone to take over the Membership role and for the Advertising. Neither of them are hard work but they are very rewarding, as it is working in the centre itself. If you could possibly help out for 3 hours a week in the library please email us or pop in to find out more.
