Message from the President: Dec 2024

We wish all our members and advertisers a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2025.

Once again, for those in need, we will be supporting Caritas’ appeal for help in providing gifts for the local children this Christmas. This year, instead of toys etc, we
are asking for monetary donations so that they can buy appropriate gifts for the children they know personally. There is a ‘bottle’ in the library for this purpose. Thank you in advance for the generosity you always display on these occasions. It is very much appreciated by the Spanish community.

Please note our December closing dates. Our last day of opening will be Friday 20th and then we will be closed until Tuesday, 8th January. So come in early and stock up on your holiday reading material.

Due to the resignation of our magazine editor there will be no issue in 2025 until we find a replacement. In the meantime we will try to keep you updated on our activities by email and Facebook.

We also have no committee members to cover Membership, Publicity, Events and Vice President, and no offers to take over as President next year. If we do not have any nominations for any of these positions by the AGM we will need to review the services we offer in 2025 and beyond. Some activities will have to be suspended until
we get more help.

Please be sure to renew your membership before the AGM in order to attend, vote, and offer your assistance.
