Message from the President: June 2023

Here we are in June already ! Time goes so quickly.

There will be no trips in the Summer heat but the guys have planned days out in September and October, with a long visit to Valencia in early December. We are still looking for someone to help Frank Moorhouse with travel when Ian gives up at the end of the year. Please think about it and ask Frank or Ian for more information on what it involves.

We are also looking for help with the Schools visits. See Martin’s report in the magazine. It is great fun and so rewarding, and the schools are extremely grateful.

We hope to see you all at the centre on Saturday 1st July for a fun day before we close in August. The August magazine will be available at the end of July – not in the usual format, but full of puzzles and other things to keep you occupied while hibernating in the heat.
