Message from the President: May 2024

Thanks to those who sponsored us for the Walk for Life in May. This is such a worthy cause and we were delighted to be able to hand over €350 towards their funds.

Thanks also to Martin and Andrea Evans for representing us at the Albox Book Fair and entertaining the children so wonderfully. Well done, Peter Williams, for the write up which appeared on the front page of the EWN and well done, Francine Sanchez, for getting us involved in the first place.

Thanks, Frank and Alan, for organising the visit to Cordoba, which I understand was very enjoyable. The next day trip will be on Thurs- day, 13th June, to the Orce visitor’s Centre followed by lunch in Ve- lez Blanco.

A reminder that we are still looking for someone to take over the Membership role and for the Advertising. Neither are hard work but they are very rewarding.
