Message from the President: Nov 2024

Here we are in November already! From 1st of this month you can renew your membership for next year. When you do this, please check that the email address and telephone number we have for you is correct so that we can always contact you about new events. Thank you.

Please note that Coffee Spanglish is now meeting in the library on Wednesday evenings from 5.00 pm (not Thursday). All language levels are welcomed. It is a chance to practice what you are learning/have learned elsewhere. We are hoping to tempt our Spanish speaking neighbours in to practice their English, too. Do come and join us.

AGM. This will be held at 11:30 on Monday 27th January 2025, venue to be advised. You will need to be in current membership to attend and/or vote so please do renew early. We will be reelecting our current committee and ratifying the co-option of Angela Curran who has offered to take on the advertising role. Thank you very much, Angela.

If you would be interested in helping us to spread the word about the group please come and talk to us about what it involves. It is not the least bit onerous.

Finally, the travel guys are already planning trips for next year. If there is anywhere in particular that you would like them to consider please email them at almanzorafriends@gmail.com or leave a note in the centre.
