Message from the President: Oct 2023

We are devoting the October issue of our magazine to the 25th anniversary of the first edition of the Albox News, issued by Max Kite from the International Office in Albox, in October 1998. This is where the Almanzora Group of Friends eventually evolved from.

Max, who now lives in Castril, has kindly sent us his memories of how it all began, and I have followed it with an outline of how it developed and where we are today. I think it is fascinating and am proud to be President of an association that has survived this long while other groups have fallen by the wayside.

We then acknowledge the contribution of some key members along the way. There are many others to thank – perhaps in a future edition – as we only have so much space !!
