Message from the President: Oct 2024

Suddenly the time has come round again to plan our AGM. This will be held on Monday 27th of January 2025, venue to be advised. To attend the AGM you need to be in current membership. You can renew your membership from 1st November. When you do, please make sure that we have your up to date con- tact details.

Which brings me on to an important point about communication. If you want to contact us about anything, please either phone the cen- tre during opening hours – 602 495 306 – (or pop in) or email us: almanzorafriends@gmail.com. Please do not use Facebook, Web, Messenger or any other channel as we are unable to access these as much as we would like. Thank you.

The travel guys have organised a Mystery Lunch on Monday 14th October and are planning a day trip in November. There are still one or two places left on the Malaga Lights trip in December.

Our next Open Day will be on Saturday 19th October – National New Friends Day. We are planning something completely different and hope to integrate with our Spanish neighbours. Please do come along to practice your language skills and make new friends.

We have quite a few events in mind but need someone to join us to organise them. Debbie has had to resign due to family commitments. Please do think about coming on board to help us out. We all work together on all our activities but do need a specified lead for each one.
