A DAY TRIP TO THE SIERRA NEVADA SKI RESORT & NEVADA SHOPPING MALL, GRANADA

For our second day trip of the year we are planning to visit the Sierra Nevada ski resort. It is a fairy tale experience with the snow & blue sky,(hopefully)! as you sit with a refreshment at one of the resorts numerous cafes, bars or restaurants watching the skiers & snow boarders enjoying their sport on the slopes. For the more adventurous, try a ride in the gondolas/cabinas up to the second level to be really amongst the skiers & have an unforgettable experience with the breathtaking views & feeling that you are on top of the world. If you intend to do this & have a Pensionistas card, you will get a reduction if you show it at the ticket office.
We will stay here for two hours & then board our coach to travel to the Nevada Mall, which is the largest in Andalucia with 240 shops & enjoy a few hours of retail therapy. .You can also have lunch here choosing from the 40 various restaurants & food/drink outlets within the mall.
On the day there is a very slight chance that if the road to Sierra Nevada is impassable & we get turned back, we will visit the el Dornajo Visitors Centre & then carry on for an extended time at the mall,
ITINERARY
08:00 Board our coach at Hotel Overa with further pick up points of Alfoquia, Arboleas, Happy Garden & Albox.
08:30 Depart Albox/
10:00 Comfort stop @ Abades, Guadix.
10:30 Resume our journey to Sierra Nevada resort,
12:00 Arrive @ the Sierra Nevada resort.
14:00 Depart the resort.
15:00 Arrive at Nevada Mall.
17:00 Depart Nevada Mall
18:00 Comfort stop at Abades, Guadix
19:00 (approx) Arrive at Albox & carry on to our various drop off points.
19:30 (approx.) Arrive at Hotel Overa.
Detailed pick up times will be issued nearer to travelling.
This trip can be booked from Wednesday 22nd November for members & Wednesday 6th December for Non Members.
